From 1:st of February, 2018, I am appointed Senior lecturer in Visual Arts with emphasis on Visual Arts Education at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Artistic Studies, Karlstad University. (info below).
The dissertation ”How do you become a successful beggar in Sweden? An inquiry into the images of begging and giving in Sweden 2011-2016”, consists of nine text chapters and six staged works. It is layouted as an e-book with moving image and sound. It is published at: http://beggingandgiving.se/

Senior lecturer in Visual Arts with emphasis on Visual Arts Education Karlstad University
Description: Research at Karlstad University is pursued in the fields of the visual arts, and related areas such as pedagogical work, media and communication studies, and cultural studies. The Visual Arts section at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Artistic Studies, offers undergraduate level courses on the theory, practice and pedagogy of visual arts. There are two main foci, visual arts education in pre- and primary school education, and subject-specific courses on visual narrative, art and design, the philosophy of photography and techniques of visualisation. All courses comprise both theory and design components.
Duties
Duties involve participating actively in developing courses and teaching, contributing to the reciprocal development of research and education, and keeping up with developments in the subject and in any other aspect of relevance to teaching. Duties include teaching, pedagogical development efforts, supervision, examination, course convening and course development in teacher education and subject- specific courses.
