Many shops in Qalqilya, once a center for commerce are closed and the economy is in ruins. Very few people are allowed to enter or leave the city.

The wall is dividing the land of Palestinian farmers and houses are destroyed by bulldozers as well as by construction workers blowing up rocks to make way for the wall. A repeated scenario: the demolishing of houses creates a no mans land. The "no mans land" is then annected and turned to Israeli land. Then a security zone is required to protect the land ......
